This site provides information on public services and entitlements in Ireland. It is provided by the Citizens Information Board.


The Money Advice and Budgeting Service (MABS) is the only free, confidential, independent and non-judgmental service for people in debt, or in danger of getting into debt, in Ireland.

Department of Social Protection

The mission of the department is to promote a caring society through ensuring access to income support and other services, enabling active participation, promoting social inclusion and supporting families.

Letterkenny Town Council

This site is a wealth of information on Letterkenny town with everything from "Things to Do" to "Planning inquires".

Donegal County Council

The council is responsible for housing and community, roads and transportation, urban planning and development, amenity and culture, and environment.

Donegal ETB

County Donegal VEC provides a broad range of Educational Services including post primary schools and colleges, further and adult education and third level education. It actively pursues the further development of educational services in the County, for example through the provision of new schools and of Education Centres, the active pursuit of new initiatives and the retention and re-development of any redundant buildings.

Letterkenny Institute of Technology

The institute offers courses in business, law, computing, engineering, nursing, veterinary nursing, design and science. The courses are offered at levels 6 through 10 on the NQAI framework. Courses are offered in a semesterised and modularised method. Specialist courses that may be found in LYIT include the Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Fire Safety Technology [3] which is the only one of its kind in Ireland, other specialist degrees also include Bachelor of Science (Hons) In Analytical and Forensic Science.

Donegal County Childcare Committee

Donegal County Childcare Committee Ltd was established in 2000 as one of the 33 County/City Childcare Committees set up throughout the Country. DCCC has a countywide remit to provide a coordinated and strategic approach to the development of high quality childcare in County Donegal.

An Grianan Theatre

Now established as an integral part of Donegal's cultural landscape, An Grianán has worked in close partnership with other key players in the county and nationally to invigorate and develop the local arts scene.

Cultural Arts Centre

The award-winning RCC building designed by MacGabhann Architects is one of the finest arts facilities in Ireland. It opened in 2007 and specialises in exhibitions, music, film and community arts. It is operated by Donegal County Council and receives annual funding from the Arts Council and Letterkenny Town Council.
