Shop Volunteers Duties - Handling cash, customer service, stocktaking, cleaning, stock maintenance, fundraising, promotion of The Doorway Project and its aims and objectives.

Volunteer Computers Supports: We are looking for volunteers to give one to one computer support to people using The Doorway HUB Community Resource.

The Doorway Project

Volunteer Grinds Tutors: We are looking for volunteers to facilitate support/grinds for small groups of young people as well as one to one support for young people to help them achieve their Leaving Certificate. Excellent communication skills and an understanding of young people essential.

After School Service Volunteers: We are looking for volunteers to assist in our After School Service. The programme includes: Homework Support, Sport, Art & Crafts, Computers, Games, outings etc., Volunteers can choose to assist purely with homework or activities or a mixture of each.

Volunteer Computers Tutors: We are looking for volunteers to facilitate computer training classes and one to one support for people of all ages.Skills areas needed include: Microsoft Office, Email and Internet, Social Media, Ebay, Website Design, Digital Photography, etc.,

Volunteer Music Tutors: Volunteers needed to teach guitar, keyboards, tin whistle etc., to people of all ages, in groups or one to one.

Caretaker/Maintenance Volunteers: Caretakers needed for general upkeep and handyman repairs inside and outside. Sweeping and tidying both inside and outside the Centre, gardening and general caretaking to help keep the our Centres looking well.

Volunteer Marketing/Admin: If you are a whiz at websites, fabulous at Facebook, super on spreadsheets, dazzling at databases or are skilled in other areas, please let us know how you can get involved. If you have a keen interest and some experience in the above areas we are interested in hearing from you. We are looking for imaginative, progressive and disciplined people to help with our ever increasing workload. Applicants are expected to be in a position to commit to a number of hours on a regular basis and be able to work to deadlines. They also need to be team players.

Applicants for all of the above positions must be over 18 years of age and they will be required to undergo Garda Vetting.
